Does a housecall make sense for you and your pets?

When the veterinarian sees your pet in its home where it is comfortable and relaxed, she is able to make a more accurate examination of the animal's condition. The stress of travel, other animals and an unfamiliar place can distort your pet's symptoms.

How does your dog or cat react in a car? A waiting room? When confronted by an aggressive animal? Is it hard for you to get your pet into your car? Does your pet get nauseous or urinate in the car? Does it shed excessively? Are you trying to manage your children and your animals at the same time?

A housecall prevents all these stresses.

Is your time valuable?

You’ve loaded your animal into your car, now you get to sit in traffic… find a parking space… sit in the waiting room… wait in the examining room. A housecall respects your time and makes it possible for you and your pet to get the undivided attention of your veterinarian. There are no interruptions, no double-bookings, and no walk-in emergencies. We all know how many diseases are spread in hospitals. The same is true of veterinary hospitals. As diligent as most vets are, it is impossible to keep waiting and examination rooms sterile and flea/pest free. A housecall ensures that your animal doesn’t have to be exposed to any illnesses or parasites.

Finally, do you have several pets? Wouldn’t it be easier if they could all be seen at one time?

A housecall is most convenient if you have multiple pets.
